Taylor James
My name is Taylor James I live in Brunswick Beach and Ambleside and I’m 9 years old. I was born in New Zealand and came to Canada with my family on our yacht in 2010 after sailing around the pacific. I really love living here because the ocean and the mountains are so close and I get to enjoy painting, playing piano, sailing, playing baseball and skiing.
I started splatter painting when I was 7 years old and I’m still doing it. I did my first splatter painting with Gar Wharton who is a painter and he helped me understand how to splatter and the different techniques. Since that day I’ve been doing splatter painting by myself and some paintings I have done with my twin brother Sam and others with my friends.
When I paint I feel relaxed and free.
